Instore Pick-up, Shipping & Delivery

Please place an order online, or contact us via snail mail, email, fax or phone to arrange for goods to be delivered to your desired address. Delivery is available Australia wide.

Whilst we endeavour to get your order our as quickly as possible, dispatch can take up to 3 business days from the date of order. If there are further delays to shipping we will contact you via email or by phone. If you need your order urgently it's best to call our Head Office on (03) 9485 9500 to discuss faster delivery options. 



You will typically be notified within 1 - 5 business days (Monday to Friday) when your order is ready for collection, subject to availability.

Orders are dispatched from our Preston warehouse. 

Orders will need to be signed for at the store you nominated for pick up, you will need to provide photo identification in order to sign for your order.

If you authorised another person to collect your parcel please notify our Preston store. They will require photo identification from this person in order to sign for and collect the parcel.

Deans Art will not be responsible for any damage or loss to your items once your parcel has been signed for.


Shipping costs are displayed on-screen prior to finalizing the transaction. Items classed as dangerous/flammable may attract a surcharge. We deliver through Australia Post, and Toll. Fees are subject to location, size and weight. 

Australia Post Estimated Delivery Times

EXPRESS POST – Next Day Delivery.

Covers 80% of Australian business addresses and private addresses. Service operates between all capital cities (except Darwin and Perth CDB only) and some major centres. Outside metropolitan areas guaranteed service is to and from townships only.

If your items is for an address outside the Express Post network, we’ll use the fastest possible transport links, but it won’t be covered by our Next Day Delivery Guarantee.

Delivery Outside Australia

As we are located in Victoria, Australia, we deliver Australia wide only. International shipping is not currently available.

Our website’s security settings may prevent customers from placing orders outside of Australia if they do not enter an Australian delivery address. If you have problems placing an order please contact

Electronic Delivery

Gift vouchers are available to purchase online in select denominations. They’re a handy idea when you’re not quite sure what to get that special someone. 

At this point in time, online gift vouchers are for online use only. Please read the description of the product carefully before checking out.

Electronic delivery only applies to gift card purchases. Electronic delivery is free.

Please ensure you enter all fields when checking out. Deans Art will not be held responsible for delays due to incorrect details entered at checkout. 

Please note there may be delays if all fields are not entered correctly during checkout. Your emails spam filters may block gift vouchers accidentally. Please check your trash or spam folders if you can’t find your gift voucher in your inbox.

We do stock gift vouchers in our retail stores should you prefer to use vouchers in-store. Please call our Head Office in Preston on (03) 9485 9500 to purchase gift vouchers for use in-store only. Postage fees will apply.  


We are a small team so during peak periods like Christmas and Back to School it might take a little longer to get your order out.

During Christmas our delivery partners might also experience a slightly longer delivery time. To ensure your order arrives before Christmas please place your orders 2 weeks before hand.

Our Warehouse will be closed for a week following Christmas. Items purchased between 24 December and 1 January will be sent out as soon as possible from the 2 January.

When orders are made before and during public holidays your order will be processed the following business day. Please note there may be delays after public holidays.
