From mid 2013 we accept online orders 24hrs/7days per week. We partner with NAB to offer the practical and secure online shopping experience our customers expect.

We hope you will find this service to your liking but welcome suggestions to further improve our service. If online is not for you, we continue to offer the highest level of customer service in the traditional way from our four ‘bricks and mortar’ stores.

Our product range is constantly evolving and changing, so the product range you see online is but a portion of the range stocked at Deans Art. Please drop in for a visit if you’d like to see more!

Please note all prices shown on our website are in Australian Dollars. (AUD)

SHIPPING

Please place an order online, or contact us via snail mail, email, fax or phone to arrange for goods to be delivered to your desired address. Delivery is available Australia wide.

Whilst we endeavour to get your order our as quickly as possible, dispatch can take up to 3 business days. If there are delays to shipping we will contact you via email or by phone.

Shipping costs are displayed on-screen prior to finalizing the transaction. Items classed as dangerous/flammable may attract a surcharge. We deliver through Australia Post, and Toll. Fees are subject to location, size and weight. 

Australia Post Estimated Delivery Times

EXPRESS POST – Next Day Delivery.

Covers 80% of Australian business addresses and private addresses. Service operates between all capital cities (except Darwin and Perth CDB only) and some major centres. Outside metropolitan areas guaranteed service is to and from townships only.

If your items is for an address outside the Express Post network, we’ll use the fastest possible transport links, but it won’t be covered by our Next Day Delivery Guarantee.

Delivery can take between 2 – 7 days from dispatch

*As always these times are estimates and during peak delivery times there may be delays.

In Store Pickup

You will typically be notified within 1 - 5 business days (Monday to Friday) when your order is ready for collection, subject to availability.

 

We will contact you via email or by phone when your order can be collected.

 

Please leave a note at checkout indicating which retail location you would like to collect your order from:

Orders are dispatched from our Preston warehouse. 

 

Orders will need to be signed for at the store you nominated for pick up, you will need to provide photo identification in order to sign for your order.

 

If you authorised another person to collect your parcel please notify our Preston store. They will require photo identification from this person in order to sign for and collect the parcel.

 

Deans Art will not be responsible for any damage or loss to your items once your parcel has been signed for.

Delivery Outside Australia

As we are located in Victoria, Australia, we deliver Australia wide only. International shipping is not currently available.

Our website’s security settings may prevent customers from placing orders outside of Australia if they do not enter an Australian delivery address. If you have problems placing an order please contact sales@deansart.com.au

Electronic Delivery

Gift vouchers are available to purchase online in select denominations. They’re a handy idea when you’re not quite sure what to get that special someone. At this point in time, online gift vouchers are for online use only. Please read the description of the product carefully before checking out.

Electronic delivery only applies to gift card purchases. Electronic delivery is free.

Please ensure you enter all fields when checking out.

 

Please note there may be delays if all fields are not entered correctly during checkout. Your emails spam filters may block gift vouchers accidentally. Please check your trash or spam folders if you can’t find your gift voucher in your inbox.

We do stock gift vouchers in our retail stores should you prefer to use vouchers in-store. Please call our Head Office in Preston on (03) 9485 9500 to purchase gift vouchers for use in-store only. Postage fees will apply.  

PEAK PERIODS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

We are a small team so during peak periods like Christmas and Back to School it might take a little longer to get your order out.

During Christmas our delivery partners might also experience a slightly longer delivery time. To ensure your order arrives before Christmas please place your orders 2 weeks before hand.

 

Our Warehouse will be closed for a week following Christmas. Items purchased between 24 December and 1 January will be sent out as soon as possible from the 2 January.

 

When orders are made before and during public holidays your order will be processed the following business day.

 

DEANS ART RETURNS POLICY

Deans Art aims to satisfy all of our customers at all times. We can offer a credit note or exchange on goods returned with a valid receipt. Further details of our refund and returns policy can be downloaded here.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

In the rare instance you have received a faulty or damaged item please contact our Head Office in Preston immediately so we can work towards a resolution.

INSTORE DISCOUNTS

Yes, we offer an instore 10% discount to all students upon presentation of their current student card. The same applies to Art Society members and certain other organizations with an agreed arrangement with Deans Art. Members of the Deans Art Club also receive special offers and discounts, exclusive to participants in our customer loyalty programme.  

SCHOOLS DIVISION

Want to order online?

When applying for a Schools Account, please select customer group as School Customers. As this will be a school body, the school ABN number and other details relevant to your school will need to be filled in to apply for School Pricing.

The distribution centre for our School division is located at 17 - 19 High Street, Preston VIC 3072. All orders can be faxed to (03) 9485 9595 or emailed to sales@deansart.com.au. Phone (03) 9485 9500 for more information. Please update your records to reflect our new details.

MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS

Most products available on this website will have a link direct to manufacturers’ websites where you may be able to download Material Safety Data Sheets for a particular product, or obtain further information. If not, please contact us and we shall endeavour to assist with your query.

Our framing and canvas stretching facility is located at our Melbourne City store,

COLOURS, FINISHES, PACKAGING, PRODUCT INFORMATION

Should you like to see our products and colour swatches in real life you can visit one of our four stores around Melbourne where our friendly and experienced staff will be happy to help you find the right product for your next project.

Due to differences in device screen settings and the limitations of online images to real world products and swatches there may be variations in what you seen on screen and what your product looks like in real life.

Deans Art will not be responsible for any colour and design differences that are not factory faults. By purchasing items online you agree to accept the small that there may and will be variations to colour and design when you receive your item.

You may receive a product with slightly different packaging to what is shown online. This is due to suppliers changing the look of the boxed item for marketing purposes, and does not alter the product in any way.
