Holbein Artists' Gouache is made from the finest pigments selected for high density saturation and light-fastness. They are more finely ground than other competing products. Holbein adds no opaquing agents to their Holbein Artists Gouache colours, this means they will always give consistent reliable results without milking out, darkening or muddiness. 

Holbein Artists Gouache can be used on suitable surfaces by artists, students and hobbyists. An intersting use for Holbein Artists Gouache is as an ink for woodblock printing. As it uses gum arabic in the binder the paints can be re-wet and activated even after drying.
