Solid Solutions Brushable Liquid Latex 1L

Solid Solutions Brushable Liquid Latex is designed for mould production and is an excellent choice for artists and creatives. It can be air dried for form a durable and elastic film to use in creation of master moulds made from a variety of materials including fiberglass, clay, plaster, glass and concrete. It has a higher viscosity than traditional pouring latex which makes it less likely to sag or produce runs during application. It also means less layers are needed and it has a low shrinkage rate. 

Directions for Use: 

Start by making sure everything is clean, free from and dust or oil. Apply over PVC mould release on a prepared surface straight from the container. Allow to set and apply further coats in the same way. Brush latex from top to bottom of the model and overlap for every coat.

The excess film of the first coat can be used as a handle in casting. Dry the first coat at room temperature to minimize lifting from the master. Subsequent coats can be applied once the first coat is dry to the touch. Drying between coats can be done at room temperature from 22 degrees to 26 degrees.
