Deans Art has operated in Melbourne since 1854. Our Preston and Brunswick stores are centrally located and easy to access on public transport. See below for any updates to our hours.

Deans Art is closed on public holidays and may have adjusted opening hours over the Easter and Christmas holidays.

EXTENDED CHRISTMAS STORE TRADING HOURS 2025

Deans Art's Preston & Brunswick stores will be open SUNDAYS in December. We're excited to see you instore during the Christmas period, our stores will be filled with a range of gift options for the artists in your life. 

Our stores will be open Sunday 7 December, 14 December and 21 December from 11am to 2pm. 

NEW YEAR STORE TRADING HOURS

Deans Art's Preston & Brunswick stores will have adjusted hours from 29 December until 3 Jan 2026.

• Thur 1 Jan - CLOSED 
• Fri 2 - Sat 3 Jan 10a - 5p 

Back to normal from 9am, Monday 5 January 2026.

HEAD OFFICE & WAREHOUSE CHRISTMAS CLOSURES

PRESTON HEAD OFFICE 

Deans Art's Preston Head Office will close from 5pm on Monday 22 December. And will reopen from 10am on Monday 29 December. Adjusted hours are: 

• Monday 29 Dec 10a - 5p 
• Tuesday 30 Dec 10a - 5p
• Wednesday 31 Dec 10a - 5p
• Thursday 1 Jan CLOSED 
• Friday 2 Jan CLOSED 

You're welcome to use our contact form online or email sales@deansart.com.au during the office closure and our team will reply when they return. And we'll be back to normal hours from Monday 5 Jan 2025. 

WAREHOUSE HOLIDAY CLOSURE 

Our warehouse will close from 5pm Friday 19 December 2025 and will not reopen until 9am 12 January 2026. 

Online orders placed during this time will be picked and packed by our staff instore. We may hold your order until the warehouse reopens if it contains large sheets of paper or contains complex materials like flammable or bulky goods. 

We'll be in touch if you order is held, if there's any out of stock materials or any other issues.
